Academic Programs in the College
The College of Education and Human Development offers excellent high quality programs that prepare students for entry or advanced roles in education at all levels, as well as professional positions in counseling, recreation and tourism, rehabilitation, kinesiology and exercise science, public health education, and social work. Degrees are offered at the bachelors, masters, specialist and doctoral levels. Professional educator programs are accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), the Counseling Psychology doctoral program is accredited by The American Psychological Association (APA), and Social Work is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
