First Care Medical Center is a hospital and integrative healthcare clinic in Park River North Dakota. Park River is a city of roughly 1400 people. The Hospital Serves both the city as well as the surrounding Farming Communities. The University of North Dakota Counseling Psychology and Community Services Department through an RPIC trainee partnership has been able to provide mental health services at this clinic for the past 4 years. Through this partnership the range of services at the Hospital has been greatly expanded and now includes individual counseling, family therapy, couples counseling, psychological assessment including personality and cognitive testing, and group therapy.
Currently there are two clinicians at the site who are available to see clients on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. In addition, these two clinicians also services near by assisted living centers in Park River and Osnabrock.
