UND GLOBE Training Summer 2017
Registration is now available for next summer’s "Teacher Training - K-12 Science using GLOBE"

What?: This blended learning event will prepare and train K-12 teachers to use several of the
GLOBE environmental measurement protocols and hands-on learning activities related
to three interdisciplinary components of the earth system: atmosphere, soil, and plant life.
Why? GLOBE-trained teachers will discover new ways to incorporate inquiry-based learning.
They will join an international collaborative network of GLOBE scientists and science teachers.
When? Online components begin on 27 July 2017 and face-to-face begins 31 July for two days.

Who? College students who are studying to become K-12 teachers.
In-service K-12 teachers who teach science
Faculty and Graduate Students, in a science discipline, who are interested in K-12 outreach
PD Credits needed?
Optional UND Professional Development Credits:
Optional PRISM credits are alternatively available (GFK teachers only)
Dorm rooms will be available as a low-cost lodging option. Stay tuned.
