Scholarships and Grants

In the spring of every year, the following scholarships are awarded to graduate and undergraduate students. To apply for the scholarships, complete the application and submit it to und.teachereducation@email.und.edu. Applications are accepted anytime but are awarded only once per year late in the spring semester.

• Nancy & Michael DiDonato Memorial (undergraduate majoring in Elementary Ed)

Special Education Scholarships

• Kim Deraney Bakken Memorial (undergrduate majoring in Special Ed)
• Matilda Nelson Erickson Memorial (North Dakota resident majoring in Special Ed)

General Education & Human Development Scholarships

• Donald & Ann Lemon Scholarship
• Vito Perrone Education Scholarship
• Teaching & Learning Scholarships
• George Hanna Education Scholarship (undergraduate)
• ETA Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, ND (junior or senior with teaching major, female preferred)
• Ed Gaides Memorial (undgergraduate majoring in science)
• Frank & Carrie Kovnick Memorial (senior or graduate in Education with financial need most deserving)
• Minard & F. Jean McCrea Scholarship (sophomore with at least 3.0 GPA, who is a ND resident with intent to teach in ND for 2 or more years, prefer Barnes County resident)
• Howard Rasmusson Memorial (graduate or undergraduate most deserving of financial aid)
• Irene Mares Boyd Scholarship (undergraduate)
• Paul & Bell Thomas Scholarship (graduate or undergraduate majoring in Education most deserving of financial aid)
