Elementary Education Undergraduate Program TEAM
TEAM (Teacher Education through Applied Methods) is a 14-hour block of methods courses in reading, science, math, and social studies and includes a 60-hour field experience in a regional school-based classroom. TEAM meets from 8 am to 12 pm, Monday through Friday, throughout the semester.
Applying to TEAM
In order to register for TEAM, you must complete an application the semester before you take TEAM. Applications are available five weeks prior to registration and are due to the Teaching and Learning Office (Education Room 236) within two weeks.
Prerequisites for TEAM
- Grade of "C" or better in all TEAM prerequisites: T&L 250, T&L 315, T&L 328 or T&L 329, T&L 335 and Math 277
- 2.75 overall GPA
- 2.75 GPA minimum in the major
- Formally admitted to the Teacher Education Program.
