Terri Houghton holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education and earned her Masters of Science in Special Education – Special Education Strategist from the University of North Dakota.
Terri is an online instructor in the special education graduate program. Courses she has taught include: Progress Monitoring/Students with Special Needs, Advanced Assessment/Students with Special Needs, and Response to Intervention. Terri also supervises Resident Teachers. In addition to her teaching responsibilities in the department, Terri is a Special Education Coordinator and a K-12 teacher in the special education field. She has experience working with students with emotional/behavioral disorders, hearing and visual impairments, learning disabilities and intellectual disabilities.
