Undergraduate Advising & Admissions
Committed to you.
Our advising staff can be a resource for you from the day you apply through the day you graduate.
Our Undergraduate Advisors
The Office of Advising is an indispensable part of the College of Education and Human Development – a center of all undergraduate academic advising within the College.
We are an office in which excellence is uppermost and other departments and individuals, both faculty and students, rely on the academic advising information we provide.
We will raise student and faculty comfort level and enhance student learning by providing error-free academic advising as well as academic advising training in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
We act as the students’ advocate against misadvising.
We assist students to make a successful transition to, and establish their place in, university life; to take responsibility for learning how to set academic, career, and personal goals, and the strategies for achieving them; and to graduate in a timely manner, successfully meeting all requirements.
Integral to our mission is providing our staff and faculty with the training needed to adapt readily to the changing environment of our university workplace and the advising profession.
