About UND LEADS STRATEGIC PLAN
Overview
The College of Education & Human Development (CEHD) embodies the nexus of rigorous research, world-class instruction, and public impact. Not only is the College the largest and most comprehensive education college in the state of North Dakota, but the research produced by faculty and students and the work of our graduates shape practice and policy in education and human development throughout the state, across the nation, and in countries around the globe.
Through collaborative partnerships and scholarship, the CEHD engages in inquiry and innovation to influence inclusive development and learning for all. Members of the CEHD community advance research, teaching, and learning through an intentional focus on problem solving and integration of theory and practice to develop equitable outcomes which foster local and global impacts on a diverse and complex society.
The CHED's Strategic Plan was created by an elected committee of College faculty and staff with two appointed student representatives and is based on the feedback from faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners in surveys and listening sessions.
CEHD’s Strategic Plan is a living document that will guide the CEHD over the next five years and change shape as goals are met and new priorities emerge. Many overlapping themes arose, including a deep pride in CEHD; desire for stronger connections to the communities we serve; and greater recognition of the diverse array of faculty, staff, students, and community partners who comprise our rich and vibrant College community.
