
Activity Courses
Kinesiology Activity Courses are designed to help students build lifelong wellness habits through hands-on participation in a wide range of physical activities. These classes focus on skill development, physical fitness, and enjoyment of movement. Courses include traditional sports, individual fitness options, dance, and emerging recreational activities.
Whether students are beginners or looking to refine existing skills, Activity Courses offer an inclusive environment that encourages growth, confidence, and continued engagement in physical activity.

Activity Courses are offered each semester and include a variety of movement-based classes designed to fit student interests, schedules, and fitness levels. Full and half-term classes are offered both in person and online. Course offerings may change from semester to semester, but typically include options such as:
- Team sports (volleyball, basketball)
- Individual/dual sports (badminton, pickleball)
- Fitness and conditioning (yoga, physical conditioning, core training)
- Combative sports (boxing, fencing)
- Dance, target sports, racquet sports, outdoor pursuits, etc.
Course offerings vary by semester based on instructor availability, facility scheduling, and student demand. Students are encouraged to check Campus Connection early in the registration period to view the most up-to-date list of available classes.

Our Activity Courses are now housed in the Education Northwest building, a modern facility that supports a variety of movement-based classes and activities.
Available spaces include:
- Indoor multi-sport courts for badminton, pickleball, volleyball, and basketball
- Activity studios suitable for yoga and dance
- Dedicated training areas for boxing and fitness-focused classes
- Flexible classroom spaces that can be adapted for additional activity course needs
Education Northwest provides a bright, modern, and versatile environment, and we are excited to continue developing creative ways to use the space to support student learning and physical activity.
