As a UND student, you have access to a variety of services that can help you at no additional cost. Help is available when you need it. UND offers tutoring and other services to assist students in successful academic achievement.
Career Services
Career Services assists you with developing and achieving your career goals by helping you to identify potential career paths and providing internship and cooperative education opportunities so you can combine your coursework with practical, professional employment in your chosen field. Career Services is also dedicated to enhancing your job search techniques, including resume and cover letter writing and interviewing skills. It offers practice interviews, workshops and career fairs throughout the year.
HawkCentral
HawkCentral is a tool that will help you find people and services around campus who can help you be successful, including your instructors, academic advisor and Student Success Coach. The use of HawkCentral will vary from course to course.
Library Services
UND has the largest and oldest library system in the state of North Dakota. With holdings
numbering over 2.5 million items, the UND Libraries
provide access to scholarly resources in many different formats as well as great study
environments for students. You can also get help from
librarians, including reference assistance, classes in information literacy and consultations
on specialized research topics.
Student Disability Resources
Student Disability Resources determines eligibility for disability accommodations at UND. They will assist students with identifying and arranging reasonable accommodations on a semester-by-semester basis. If you plan to use the accommodations, you must register with Student Disability Resources.
Technical Support
You have a Technical Support team available to you 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year. You can contact Technical Support by phone, email or chat. There is also an online Frequently Asked Questions page where you can quickly find answers to our most commonly asked questions.
Veterans Services
Honored as a military-friendly school with the Yellow Ribbon designation, the Veteran & Nontraditional Student Services office provides support to those who’ve served our country and the adult learner population. The office certifies eligible students/veterans for educational benefits, acts as a liaison between the student and the Veterans Administration, and provides students/veterans with information regarding VA policies and procedures.
Writing Center
The Writing Center offers one-on-one sessions with trained writing consultants for students who wish to receive assistance on various writing assignments. Whether you need help brainstorming or concluding your ideas, the Writing Center will help you make a plan to move your writing project forward.
